I just completed upgraded my 5800x (non 3d) to 7800x3d build, everything goes fines except the temperature (even at idle) is quite high (reach 60 degrees), 69 degrees when CPU reach 3x%. Update: I found temperature makes more sense when in BIOS (around 42-47 degrees)You want it to be at least 550RPM I think. That’s a better fan curve, but you can increase the flat line section in very small increments until you can hear it, then lower it one increment & leave it there - you may get slightly more RPM than 20% & hence better cooling. I am using a Hyper212 EVO CPU Cooler with Push-Pull Fans on it. One is a very high RPM fan (5000 RPM) and the other is a 2000 RPM fan and my processor temperatures are between 45C and 60C for normal computer use like browsing and watching ... I have a 5800X with PBO enabled (5GHz boost) and a NH-D14 cooler with 2x NF-A12X25 fans instead of the stock fans. My idle temps are 35-40°C and gaming temps are 50-65°C (depending on the game).
